HAUL: COLOUR POP COSMETICS.

LIQUID LIPSTICKS, EYESHADOWS & HIGHLIGHTERS.

Hi! Today I'm showing you some things I purchased from Colour Pop cosmetics. This is the first time I've ever bought anything from Colour Pop as they're an American Brand which have only recently starting shipping to the UK. Colour Pop is an extremely affordable brand and I've heard really really good things about them so I was really excited to try them out. I thought it would be helpful to include shipping information so that if you're wanting to try this brand you can know what kind of shipping times to expect.

I ordered these products on the 28th September, I received a shipping notification on the 3rd of October (this is longer than I'd expect although I did receive an email telling me so) and I received my package 10th October after paying a customs charge. I can only compare this to my orders from Jeffree Star (as these are the only other things I've bought from America) for which the international shipping was $10.95 compared to Colour Pop's $25 which was quite expensive in my opinion. Additionally all but one of my Jeffree Star packages has arrived within one week which I thought was exceptional compared to Colour Pop's 2 weeks. Taking all of this into account Colour Pop is a lot more inexpensive so I can forgive these things (perhaps not the shipping cost though).

  • EYESHADOW

The first things I bought were some matte eyeshadows. I've heard some things saying that their matte eyeshadows are a strange consistency so I only got 3. I haven't tried them yet so can't comment on that but the shades I got were (L-R): Paradox, Central Perk & Beverly. They're deep reds and purples which is great going into autumn. I'll try them out and let you know how I like them.

I also got a selection of shimmers which I have actually tried and they're amazing, especially when you just apply them with your finger. They're very pigmented and creamy. I got 3 shades (L-R): Game Face, Kathleen Lights & Drift.

I also picked up another eyeshadow but this one has a considerable amount of shimmer and glitter through it. I thought it would be great for a really intense inner corner/brow bone highlight and because I'm quite fair I thought this one would show up on me the best. This is in the shade Tassel.

  • HIGHLIGHTER

I got two highlighters, as you can see from the photo one of them arrived smashed although because of the formula it was quite easy to press it back into some sort of useable shape. The shades I got were Stole The Show (L) & Hippo (R). I bought the purple one to try and experiment as I've only ever just used normal highlighter colours.

  • GEL LINER

I also decided to pick up this gel liner. I usually always wear some kind of winged liner so I'm always open to trying new gel liners. This one is in the shade Swerve as it's just a black colour. If I like the formula I'll probably try some of their brighter shades.

  • BRONZER

The last face product I got was a bronzer in the shade Bon Voyage. It seemed to be the best shade for me considering I'm quite pale. Colour Pop is very affordable so at only $8 (£6.50) I thought it wouldn't be too much of a disaster if I didn't like it. Again, I haven't tried it out properly yet but it seems like a great colour when I've swatched it.

  • LIPPIE STIX

Colour Pop don't sell standard bullet lipsticks so I think these are the closest to those that you can buy. They come in a variety of finishes: matte, satin, gloss. I got a selection of colours and finishes to try them out, the shades I got were (L-R): Pitch, Taurus, Skimpy, Tootsi, Aquarius & Kiddo. Again, they're a very reasonable price at $5 (£4) so I'll try them out and report back.

  • LIQUID LIPSTICK

Colour Pop sells liquid lipsticks in 4 formulas: matte, satin, metallic and gloss; metallic and gloss aren't really for me so I thought I'd give the other 2 a go. The shade on the left is Prim and on the right is Littlestitious, these are the satin formula.
[COLOUR POP ULTRA SATIN LIP $6]

Finally I picked up their matte liquid lipsticks as, generally, I prefer a matte finish with lip products in general. Shades (L-R): Trap, Kae, Times Square, Lax, Vice. I got a good mixture between nudes and darker more vampy colours. I can't wait to try these, it would be really good to find a slightly more affordable brand of liquid lipsticks which perform similarly to my more expensive ones.

  1. Can't wait to hear how you like them! ColourPop is one of my very favorite brands and I love almost everything I've ever tried by them. Game Face and Kathleen Lights are two of my favorite shadow colors, too. :)
